Below is a view of the basic engine plus propellor. At the side is the exhaust pipe- this has to be drilled out carefully using a small drill. The cylinders are painted black, and the rest of the engine was given a wash of Humbrol Matt Black and thinners to simulate the oil leakage and general grime of the engine. The propellor has been sanded to its final shape but awaits staining, varnishing and application of the manufacturers logo.
