Warning: the elevator white metal casting is too small. This will result in the horizontal tailplane surfaces being too large at the point where the structure should blend with the elevator horns,
The tailplane is constructed from precision laser cut wooden parts, and assembled in egg-crate fashion. The curved leading edge is a laminate of 2 layers, soaked and shaped while wet. The whole structure is pinned to a flat board until the glue has fully cured.
